EIRA FILM 2015 World Cup Warm Up Notes

This EAGLE IMPACT RUGBY ACADEMY (EIRA) Player Development film is based on some things I spotted during some of the Rugby World Cup Warm Up games in August 2015 The EIRA website can be found at www.eirarugby.org Founded in 2011 by Robin Reid with Michael Engelbrecht and Salty Thompson, the Eagle Impact Rugby Academy (EIRA) is a USA organization building quality rugby academies for elite young players. EIRA began with a single academy for 14-18 year old elite players in Southern California in September 2013 and has grown to six academies across America with additional clinics nationwide. EIRA emphasizes both technical and tactical skill development - preparing players for their clubs and all star programs in the off season. The best prospects graduate to the USA High School All Americans (U18s) and U20 player pools. EIRA is endorsed by USA Rugby and is the pathway to the USA High School All Americans. Coach development is also an important component of EIRA. Coaches can earn continuing education credits with USA Rugby through EIRA instruction.
