Cameron Webster started the game with a bang, when he ran coast to coast with the first try of the game. North Bay answered with one of their own and laid down a marker that they were a tough hardnosed team. Yozji Teleki found daylight and found the next try. North Bay answered the bell again, and the half ended 10-10.

Yozji Teleki broke free for his second try of the day, and then converted for a 17-10 lead. North Bay answered with an unconverted try. But in the last five minutes, the heart of this MDX team came out. Ronan Greaney legged out the NB cover defense for an unconverted try. Cam Webster finished the try scoring with a great converted try from defensive pressure.
