MDX vs. Prince William County

The Maryland Exiles faced another nationally ranked program this past weekend scrimmaging Prince William County in Gainesville, VA. In the first period and working from first phase platforms, continued Exiles pressure was rewarded by two tries from Boris Ngouabe. Prince William County came storming back in the second period, before Boris was able to touch down his third try of the day. Prince William finished out the scoring in the second period. Prince William County came out strong in the final period touching down two more times. It was Max Cohen who finished out the scoring with the final try of the day however, with a pickup from the base of a ruck and a forty meter sprint to score.

The good news -- We continue to recruit! We had two players on the field getting their first real game experience. We went toe to toe with an outstanding program! We continue to improve and play better and better each week!

The bad news -- We had a lot of players that said they were coming, and then did not post for the game. We fell far short of our goal to put twenty five players on the field. We need to do better this coming weekend against a tough MAVRC opponent.
